To every victim, to every survivor, to every friend and family member who lost a loved one, to each neighbor, community member, and stranger alike, we offer our support and our shared grief over this tragic event.
Nobody should fear for their life while shopping, no parent should worry about shielding their child from gunfire, and nobody should experience the type of hatred that entered that shopping center on that Saturday morning. Our team is deeply horrified by these events and we are in mourning alongside each and every one of our fellow El Paso citizens.
During this difficult time, we have faith in our city’s ability to unite. El Paso has always been resilient and supportive, and the days following this tragic event have only proven the strength of our city and our nation. We encourage our fellow El Paso citizens to lean on one another as we mourn, rebuild, and remember.
