My former partner and I represented a man who acquired Hepatitis C from a nurse anesthetist in a claim against the United States of America. The nurse anesthetist, Jon Dale Jones, infected several patients at William Beaumont Army Medical Center with Hepatitis C when he stole narcotic painkillers from innocent surgical patients and re-used surgical equipment on the patients. Jones was eventually convicted and the case made local and national headlines. We were able to secure a confidential settlement for our client in that case.
