Born and raised in Lubbock, Clark fell in love with El Paso when his parents moved to the Sun City after he graduated from high school. While Clark stayed in Lubbock to attend Texas Tech University, he often came to visit his parents to enjoy the El Paso life.
After graduating in 1997, Clark spent three years working as a pharmaceutical sales representative. But deep down, Clark always knew he wanted to be a lawyer, and his journey then took him to Houston, where he graduated summa cum laude and second in his class from South Texas College of Law in 2003. During his time at South Texas, Clark dove head-first into the world of law, receiving the Garland Walker and Liz Parham Matthews Scholarship and participating in the South Texas Law Review and moot court competitions. Before graduating, Clark was voted Outstanding Male Graduate by the Student Bar Association.
After law school, Clark began his legal practice working at a large firm in Houston. There, he and the firm represented insurance companies and large corporations against injury claims. This was the first time that Clark was introduced to the realities that people were dealing with in these cases.
His experience with the firm drove him to El Paso in 2004, where Clark pursued the other side of personal injury cases, fighting to provide personal injury victims the fair compensation and justice they deserve. He became a partner at an established personal injury firm in 2006. His time with the firm gave him experience dealing with a wide range of cases, including commercial trucking and auto accidents, wrongful death, medical malpractice, sexual abuse claims, etc.
But Clark soon realized he wanted to start his own firm, and in 2012 he founded Harmonson Law Firm with the intent of representing seriously injured individuals dealing with personal injury and wrongful death claims.
Clark’s extensive work with injured victims and their families has earned him recognition from the following national organizations and respected publications:
